Despite the low cost and high ionic conductivity of aqueous electrolytes, their practical applications are limited because a withstand voltage 1.2 V The energy density increases in proportion to which is crucial factor for electric double-layer capacitors (EDLCs) with solid polymer electrolytes. In this study, electrolyte solution was made into viscous improve electrolyte. prepared from sodium polyacrylate doped potassium hydroxide (KOH) pure water. Sodium can absorb water at temperature 16-28 °C exhibits suitable ion transfer. EDLCs consisted distilled Japanese shochu-waste-activated-carbon electrode, titanium mesh collector, All processes were performed room temperature. Their electrochemical characteristics measured using cyclic voltammetry (CV). From CV, voltage, cycle range, specific capacitance evaluated. performance varied depending on weight ratio constituent molar concentrations KOH. Here, value concentration its variation, depends material. With addition polyacrylate, V, rose over 2 V. Some samples increased up 5 measurement, rate decrease capacity exceeded 20% after 250 cycles.
